Hiro of Hiro's Lab

Hirofumi Nakagami (Ph.D.)

Hiro graduated from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University, Japan, in 1995. He received an Msc degree at Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University, in 1997 and a PhD degree at Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, in 2000. From 2000 he worked as a post-doc in Heribert Hirt Lab at Vienna University, Austria, to study plant MAP kinase signaling pathways. In 2006, he joined Plant Immunity Research Group (Ken Shirasu Lab) at RIKEN Plant Science Center as a researcher, where he started to work on proteomics to understand plant signaling networks. He became a unit leader of plant proteomics research unit at RIKEN Plant Science Center in 2010. Since 2009, he has been appointed as a MASC Proteomics Subcommittee member.
