Regulation by Protein Phosphorylation; from Molecules to Systems
Organizers:Hafumi Nishi(Yokohama City Univ.), SotaroFuchigami(Yokohama City Univ.)
Protein phosphorylation is one of the most common post-translational modifications. From molecular point of view, phosphorylation works as a switch which modulates activities of proteins to regulate biological pathways. From systems point of view, phosphorylation states of proteins serve as a descriptor of the state of the cell. In this workshop we will introduce phosphorylation studies from structural to systems biology, and discuss roles of phosphorylation comprehensively.

New Year Party / 30 Jan 2011
A new year party was held at Ken & Keiko's flat.
All members on the 6th floor (PSC east building) and their family or partners were kindly invited.
There were around 50 people all together including many kids. Wow!
We enjoyed many good dishes and drinks, and some music.
Thank you Ken & Keiko for organizing a wonderful party every year.
